'Inexpensive' Tuxedo Dial Timepieces
So, been wanting a tux dial. Doesn't have to be $$$$$ yet do desire good quality. Was thinking about the Longies L23304930. Again, NOT looking for high price, just a good piece with Tux dial.
Other ideas / suggestions wanted. Longines-LonginesHeritage-L23304930.jpg

That's the only one that came to mind. And the Longine chrono. Good luck

Thx, and yeah that's pretty much where I think things are nowadays. The chrono model is nice, yet want a simple dial and the sans date makes the Longies that much more desired in my eyes. The reasonable price and long warranty is also quite nice

That's very nice, congrats on getting one! Didn't know about that model and thanks for posting.

That Longines is really great in the metal. Longines in general punch way above their weight.

I think you found the best answer. Even if the Kurono were available at its original MSRP, I think that the Longines represents a better product for the money. I am not aware of any other tuxedo dial watches in the same general price range.

I think the longines wears pretty big lug to lug from what I know like many of their pieces. Probably best to see if you can find one to try on - but that and the chrono look nice for sure.

Hard to go wrong with Hamilton:
I know, I know, it's a skinny lapel tux... But it's passable, I think :) https://www.nyjchicago.com/product/6...h38425720/6916 |

Love the Hamilton, yet desire a 'classic' lapel with no date. Do like how the date on the Hamilton doesn't interfere with the skinny lapel.

I've tried the Longines on and it's a really gorgeous watch with a lovely polished rounded case that punches way above its price point in terms of quality. The lugs are on the long size but it fit fine on my 6.7" wrist. I certainly don't need another watch but I'm considering one.

So what you're saying is that we've got a skinny lapel tuxedo with double vents in the back: functional, and will work if it has to, but not quite proper.

So does that mean I need both slim and classic tux timepieces? Hmmm... Hmmmmmm..... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... You might be onto something.

Then me thinks this should also be under consideration (with a satin band, of course): |
