I like them. They indeed sound like a great value. Stylistically they look great too IMO.

Great watch at a great price. Brilliant option for a price-sensitive beater.

That's a good-looking watch. The Powermatic 80 is a pretty respectable movement as well, isn't it?

Put it this way… I was at a Rolex AD, and several people (staff) came over to look at it — including their watchmaker with a loupe. One of them asked to try it on. That’s when you know it’s a hit! |

The staff were probably just excited to see a watch. Who knows how long it’s been since they handled one from a display

So true! It’s SOOOO tiring looking at the same black dial Cellini Date in three giant empty display cases! They move it from case to case every few hours just for fun.

It looks very much like a Rolex 1530 (and Oysterquartz) from the early 70s. I like it.

Great watch for the price! Tissot makes some very nice affordable automatic watches without having to spend thousands and/or tens of thousands of $/£/€.

Very nice watch. Any idea if the movement can receive easy service from independent wactchmaker as for classic ETA movements or it has to be done by Tissot ?

I don’t know… but when I purchased (from a Tissot retail store), they told me first service was complementary.

Congratulations! I'm not big on the '70s integrated bracelet sport luxury watches but if I were to dip my toe into the water for one, it would be that Tissot.

Picked up a Green 35mm PRX that was just released. Really reminds me of my old Rolex Oysterquartz! Some videos appearing on YouTube e.g. https://youtu.be/k_Z-YSRCM7E

Congrats! The automatic is a very good deal and 100m WP is a big plus.

I bought the green 40mm auto and just sold it. Was definitely miles above its price tag in terms of finishing. Ended up finding out I'm not really into the 70s integrated fad after all, but at least I didn't have to buy an AP to learn!

I think this is a great watch too. Tried it on and almost pulled the trigger. And I am glad to see they came out with the new color green.... hoping for a red in the future!

This thread helped me make a decision. Incoming!
Hard to tell in the picture, it’s the green dial. It’s darker than it looks in pictures, reminds me of British Racing Green. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I see this watch on Instagram all the time and it always impresses me. So it's worth getting?

Absolutely worth getting, especially at 10-15% off retail price.
For me, the PRX is the benchmark for how budget watches should be built -- surpassing even my older, cheap Seikos (Seikos are no longer cheap these days). I would strongly recommend the PRX to anyone considering one. |

Blue auto just arrived for me today - it’ll take the place of the GO in areas where there could be a higher chance of theft. Great looking watch and very well built.
Paid $535 incl shipping, brand new from a AD on the east coast. Bargain. |

My AD somehow offers no discount on them. is that the norm?
