I’ll let you know my thoughts.

It’s not a flip.

It’s pretty much been like that for over a decade with new iPhone announcement every year in the autumn.

They'll all have 5G.

After the past year, I’m guessing the return of some form of Touch ID most likely in the power button. If they don’t, they are idiots. I’d also like to see the mini with a much more powerful battery. Apple capacities are always “enough” but nothing amazing. Knock my socks off Apple!!!

I'm thinking they won't do a number 13 either.

Either way I'm set for a while with the 12 mini.

Funny how the 12 Pro is already outdated... seems so soon. Well I hope the battery life of the 13 is much better than all previous models.

I used to skip a generation or two on upgrades. However, I love my 11 Pro and will probably keep it until I can get 5g in at least 75% of my area. Should only be 5-6 years.

I hope they fix the minimal focus distance on the pro max...

I bought the 12 pro max with a gift card I had when it came out even though I loved my 11 pro max and had no need... waited so long to open and use it I couldn't return it lol

My 11 pro max takes much better close up pics, and optical 2x for watches and again closer up shots
the 12 pro max is literally 6 inches farther away and the 2x to get more macro on 12 pro max is always digital not optical, and grainy compared to my amazing 11 pro max

I saw 100's and 100's of complaints and wonder if they'll take that into consideration, who knows

Loved my 11Pro. Have a 12Pro now. Great phone but liked the way the 11Pro felt in my hand better.

I just got a 12 Pro to replace my old iPhone 7. I do miss the home button for sure. I also hate that they changed from Lighting to USB A to a Lightning to USB C. Lady in the store said if I use my old charging cords, I'll fry the 12's battery.

Might be asking a tad too much here.

When people say they take better pictures with their Iphones, I think it is solely because it is quick and easy, especially for spontaneous shots which are usually the most memorable ones IMHO.

Agree for the most part BUT for most people they are "good enough". And quick to post to where ever.

Don't forget back a few years ago millions of people used "Instamatics" with plastic lens for all their pictures, which were pretty much junk.

I shoot with a GFX100S, FF Sonys and APS-C Fujis. I really like cameras.

That said - this is good stuff. 2021 iPhone Competition winners.

Love my 12 mini, I don't think the battery performance is THAT bad, lasts most of the day, just need to make sure you close out of any running apps you aren't using

Indeed disappointing, but they will not fix it. Not so many people interested in macro shots

Just picked up a 12 Pro. Camera is pretty good. Skipped the Pro Max as I almost always have a camera with me anyway and don’t care for the size.

Battery life has been better than my 11 Max that I’m keeping and the 8 that I traded in. With the pending release of the 13 the 12 Pro ended up being discounted to roughly $200 after the trade in.

Fine with me. :)
