It's Only Rock & Roll............

But I like it, especially from The Greatest Rock & Roll Band in the world.

Snagged tickets to the Oct 9th Nashville show, just announced yesterday. I know the blokes are long in the tooth but they still delivered the last time I saw them in 2016 at the Indy Speedway. Charlie just turned 80 and I find it hard to believe they will tour the US again in a handful of years. As a 60+ musician myself, it sure is great to see my heroes still rocking.

Now, off to my Friday night gig.

I've always admired Charlie Watts for marching to the beat of his own drummer, no pun intended.

We used to see the 'Stones playing in Richmond in the 60's.

Can't help thinking, what a life, Brian Jones, missed out on.

Ron Wood is a great guitarist but I really liked Taylor’s time with the band, the golden years in my opinion. I’m afraid I can’t listen to new live Stones. Micks voice is just so bad.

That’s awesome Dan

I’ve always loved the Stones as well, their blues influenced rock’n roll sound is timeless. Dare I say it … the equivalent to Rolex

I can’t get over how good they still sound. Their timing is still spot on, and Mick’s voice has held up extremely well over all these years.

Enjoy the show

Makes Mick sound like Pavarotti. Enjoy the Stones.

Damn near anybody’s voice is better then Dylan’s.
Saw him in the late 80’s at MSG with Tom Petty. Great show

Thanks for the good wishes, everybody!

The moment I met my [future] wife, the very 1st thing I asked was "Beatles or Stones? [borrowing the line from Bill Murray in the movie Where The Buffalo Roam]" Without missing a beat, she emphatically replied, "oh, the Stones!"

We'll celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary in Sept.

In the beginning, when God was laying down the law to Adam & Eve, Adam said "sure, no problem. But who's that guy [pointing to Keef]?"

God said "Oh, that's Keith Richards, he was here when I arrived."

People have been predicting Richards' early demise since the 70s.

It's Only Rock & Roll............

Saw them back in the early '80s on their Start Me Up tour (it was my first concert) and they left a lasting impression on me. I've been into rock music ever since.

Would be fun to see.

I first saw the bad boys of rock and roll in 1964 on Ed Sullivan.
