The diver, because I don't need a chrono function (even though it's a classic)

Hard choice... For me personally, neither. But if I had to chose one it would be the speedy.
Speedy - most iconic Omega and really the only one worth talking about IMO. Its a nice size and more casual. I really don't need or want the chrono function, nor the added expense of servicing an Omega. Seamaster - I hate the hour and minute hands, as well as the half ceramic bezel. The bracelet is too dressy for a sport watch and I don't need nor do I want a freaking helium escape valve... because I'm not a poser! Unfortunantly Omega's sub-par fit is visible on the speedmaster. The bottom left lug, between the lug and the end link the springbar is visible due to a gap. You don't see stuff like that on a $300 Citizen so why is it on a watch with a price tag more than 10x more. |

SMP...the new ceramic bezel and glossy dial are amazing. Bracelet has been updated with screws and a new style clasp. It doesn't have the history of the Speedy Pro, but the SMP is a great watch and one of the best designs in the current line up IMHO.
EDIT: Just looked at the OPs avator. If you already have a Sub, go with the Speedy. No need to have 2 divers that are similar. |

I had a choice between the speedy and most other omegas. I took the speedy because it is a true icon. The other watch looks to much like many other watches IMHO

The Seamaster is better on your wrist. Right size and it has a modern look to it.

Out of those 2 the speedy, no doubt!
Or Find a 2254.50, my favorite omega.

Speedy. Pete Conrad an Alan Shepard wore one on the moon. That's enough for me!
