Does it wear "heavy" like the gold YMII? That pm YMII feels like a brick on my wrist, I want to try one of those SD on, may be my next one...
congrats on the pick up! looks great in WG with that dial..

It does wear smaller than the YG YMII but it is as heavy in my opinion.

Huge congrats! I really love the Sky-Dweller, it's such a powerful watch, just has so much wrist presence. Great pick-up!

On such a stunning watch can you tell us more about the ring mechanism how it works and feels -is it smooth or can you feel the mechanism of the ring command turning clicking etc I'd be fascinated to know. It's such a unique movement and very very clever.

It has clicks. So as you're rotating the bezel, you don't feel anything until you hit one of the complication discs. The click is intentional. Once you hit one of the "stops" on the bezel, you use the crown to adjust.

Well...

The YMII is heavier. I don't have my yellow one here, but I do have my white gold one... a bit heavier. The Sky-Dweller wears heavy though, a good heavy. It's a very very nice heft on my wrist. Not as "clanky" feeling as my YMii.

Innovative movement with great functionality.
Love how Rolex made use of the fluted bezel.

... and, it seems that the amount of rotation needed to hit each "stop" is not uniform. For example, it seems that the angle between the normal position and the first "stop" is greater than the angles between {1st, 2nd} and {2nd, 3rd}.

Oh boy, I was there about ten days ago and tried this one and the rose gold they had in stock, no yellow golds to try on. I have been undecided to go with the yellow gold or white gold, but these pics make this watch the right choice I think. Congrats, that is a stunning looking watch.

I love rose gold and yellow gold, and I have so many of those haha. IMO, this is such a modern piece that I think the white gold really looks best. There's no wrong option, but I find the white gold to be the most modern looking choice between the three when on a bracelet. The everose with chocolate dial on the leather strap, however, is also a gorgeous combination.
