Incoming... Hello
Greeting - this is my first proper post in the forum.
So, for me, owning a Rolex has been a long emotional experience with many memories. I bought my first Rolex in California (Ben Bridge), with my Dad in 2007. Back then, they had pretty much everything except the Daytona in the case. I went for the Submariner ND and had many years travel with it including some diving. It was a beautiful watch - but decided to flip about 3 months ago – not sure what prompted the change, maybe reading this forum! One thing that always bothered me was the clasp ~ it came undone 2-3 times in that time, and almost lost it in the sea. In that time probably travelled at least 20 countries (consulting), so sad to see it go. I went for a SubC - it is definitely a heavier watch, but for me, the biggest and almost night and day difference, is the clasp/bracelet. Only last week, I purchased a Pepsi. My Dad had a GMT since like 1990’s and have always been of the mind “one day I’ll own one of those” but have to say, I was a bit worried about the Jubilee, but I might even be so bold to say now, I actually prefer it to the Oyster, It really is so comfortable and you forget it’s on your wrist. I feel very fortunate to be able to enjoy owning my collection. |

Congrats on the Pepsi.
I was like you at first, a bit worried about the jubilee bracelet as I wasn't keen on the look but I have to say its incredibly comfortable and looks great with the red and blue bezel. I'm not a 100% sure I prefer it to the Oyster but I definitely think its more comfortable to wear on the wrist. |

So jealous... still waiting to get mine!
But Very nice, and awesome collection too!! Do you find the pepsi wears noticeably smaller than the SubC? I recently flipped my 116610ln to fund the pepsi. |
