Well...kind of!

After months of thinking about what to get my son for his 21st birthday, my AD has pulled out all the stops to secure a Black Bay 58 for me. I don’t have any pictures yet as they are getting the case-back engraved for me, but I’m really excited about this as I truly love this watch, it really is a stunner in person. I am actually a little envious!!

My wife was encouraging me to get him a Rolex but I really feel that he should work hard and earn that for himself, some things are worth waiting for and doing for yourself.

What makes it better is that he has tonight been telling me how much he wants a Tudor and how he’s started saving, and he thinks he’ll have enough in a couple of years to buy one. I didn’t even know he’d heard of Tudor as we’ve never discussed them!

Can’t wait for his birthday, suspect I’m more excited than he is!

Gave our eldest a nice Tag Heuer for his high school graduation and then gave him my v series 16610 for graduating college and getting his masters. He was blown away!

Congrats to your son!

You might want to record his reaction to opening. I never tire of watching my daughter open her 21st birthday Rolex Milgauss white

Nicely done!! My son is only three but he already likes to listen to my watches close to his ear so perhaps a future WIS in the making. I will be doing the same for mine.

Awesome! That is the best part of giving a gift, when you're just as, if not more excited than the receiver!

Nicely done Vince.
As much as I love my watches I look forward to the day when I will give one to each of my three sons.

This is a great idea. I did exactly this when I bought my wife her own number plate for her new car. Our dealer put her plates on before we came to collect the car and when she saw it, she screamed, called me "an absolute tool" and then started crying. Priceless.
