16700 Bezel and Dial

I’m currently thinking of acquiring a 16700 to complement my GMT post 1675 collection.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a lot of research on the model. I wonder if besides tritium / non tritium are the any obvious MK of the dial or of the bezel insert?
Anything to specifically look at at this model?

Not so sure about the finer points of tritium v other dials etc, but if you can locate a clean 16700 with a reliable history, you should go for it.....superb watch!

I would get one that has the ‘Swiss’ only dial. They only came with black or Pepsi bezel so there isn’t going to be many MK’s for this model.

Sort of dial related.....the first few years of these (around 1989-1991) came with ‘open 6 & 9’ date wheels, if you like that feature.

Can explain a bit why you would get a dial with “Swiss” only? Isn’t the T<25 a better option due to the tritium dial and hands? When they can change to patina
