Not seeing much on this model. Love the versatility and matte white dial. Thoughts? Have a blue bay 58 and speedy considering trading the speedy plus cash.

Panerai's are special, they stand alone to any brand. Panerai is in their own category of cool. I love their uniqueness, choice of materials, choice of colors, design. They made their own lane and stayed in. If you owned other brands, owning a Panerai will be a great choice. I can't say enough of how good Panerai is.

My 2 cents, if this is your first Panerai, I'd lean towards a black or blue dial. As well as if this would be your one watch. BUT if you own multiple watches, adding a white dial to your mix is totally fine.

Next time, zoom in closer to get a better pic of the actual watch. 75% of your picture is of everything else that is irrelevant.

Picked mine up about 3 weeks back and I’m very happy with it. Very svelte on the wrist for a PAM and I’ve enjoyed it with a bunch of different strap options.

I’ve seen a bunch of IG pics where the dial texture is prominent, but to my eye, that’s not the case on the wrist. Very subtle to me.

I like it best on this anthracite Tropic, but it works well on the OEM quick change leather options, of course, and slips under a shirt cuff fine.

I know PAMs are supposed to be big, but I’ve been gravitating towards 36mm-40mm options of late for my ~7in wrist, and this suited me just fine.

I LOVE the white dial. It’s hard for brands to pull it off but the sandwich dial is what does it for me. Their other white dials look like an afterthought, but this and the 1314 really look great.

I think this is a great first piece because of the sandwich dial and crown guard. It has enough of the PAM DNA, but that’s just my opinion.

Hey, I love that. Do you have a lug to lug at all?
Thanks

Thanks - I enjoy it so far, and I believe lug-to-lug is 48.8mm.

Great shots of a great watch. Congratulations.

By chance do you have the measurements of the case height?

The blue dial version has caught my eye.

Well, I don’t have calipers, but a thread on WUS noted the thickness as 12.8mm. Pretty svelte on the wrist overall.

If you can swing it, I’d add the Pam to the Speedy and the 58.

Love the reference, looks like a fun one

They did a great job with the white on this model. It’s so clean compared to the creamy white on some of their others. Thanks for this post, I was beginning to think I was the only one who fell in love with this watch.
