I guess Patek must also be pretty weak, having done the same thing across the board recently.

Companies go through highs and lows. Panerai isn't as hot as it was a few years ago, but I think they're still in a good position.
I'd like to see Panerai shift their focus a bit by building a really strong core collection (focusing around the Radiomir 1940 and Luminor 1950 collections) and limiting their limited editions. |

Panerai just recently moved into a new 10,000 sq. foot manufacturing plant.
I don't think we will need to hold many bake sales for them anytime soon. |

There's a bunch of new Panerai watches for 20-25% off on "Touch of Modern" right now...
Not a great thing for the brand. https://www.touchofmodern.com/sales/panerai-watches |

As for the brand and its state today, you could say the same thing about most other brands. I like my Panerai and I feel these watches are definitely much more unique than IWC/Breitling/Omegas. The huge aftermarket strap community in itself is special and I think it plays a big part in the identity of today's Panerai. |

Unless they make a regular production Luminor in bronze (ideally in 44mm) I'm probably not going to add any more Panerais to my stable. |
