Also, I believe the watch itself is just as capable now as they’ve every been (save for additional rather unnecessary water resistance and a few other perks), BUT THE BUYERS ARE NOT. Again, I am really struggling to understand why/how a bunch of grown men (and women despite being the small minority in this gripe session) worry about scratching a watch. The comments along the lines of “not being able to deal” with a certain level of scratching is just insane to me, which is why I asked to better understand what I obviously cannot. Watches are meant to be worn, and scratches are inevitable. If that is something that someone cannot deal with then perhaps try to “flex” in other, more advantageous ways, or go see a counselor 😃 |

+1 on this, but it still hurts when you see that first one.

I remember when Paul Newman got his first scratch. He immediately whined about it to those around him and then looked for a place on the Internet to whine some more; alas, blogs did not yet exist for people who somehow think—being unaware of more serious problems in their lives—posting nonsense about nothing is the right way to move through life, and he never really recovered from the anguish of not being able to have a cry as he saw so fit (rightly or wrongly, you know, not judging). Exactly, in the old days there were no gold Subs with PCLs, which is somewhat of an oxymoron. YMMV

Options? Ok, here's one, stop living your life and just sit still on the couch from here on. Have all your food delivered, wear long sleeves everyday, even if you're warm, and never leave your house again.

This is such an amusing thread. Everyone is responding to a "scratch" that no one can see, including myself...lol!

It bothers you just as it would all those telling you to ignore it. Just fix it or replace the part. It is devastating to you so spend the money to eliminate the emotional drain

Let it be. Doing little touch ups here and there can be a slippery slope.

Exactly and time to scratch this thread and get down to more important post topics like the history of the Rolex brand, other than usual now investment this or that, superficial scratches, my AD said this or that etc.
