What's your profession?
I thought it would be interesting to share what we did for a living since, like watches, our professions usually have a lot to do with our identities.
Me: I am 35 and am a professional photographer. I shoot for magazines (Rolling Stone, New Yorker, Esquire etc), commercially (Apple, Nike, Puma etc) and also try to keep up with personal work between jobs. I am currently working on branching out into becoming a director. I own a 1601 Datejust from 1972 with a brushed sigma/pie-pan dial on a jubilee bracelet. It's my first "real" watch. I also own a Hamilton Khaki Field watch that I wear when I don't want to draw attention to my Datejust or if I'm in situations where it might get stolen or damaged. I thought it would be my lifetime watch, but lately I've been drawn to the older Explorer watches, but just can't justify the cost at the moment. Maybe one day... How about you? |

There's a big thread about this, look for something along the lines of "your watch and your education level/what you do for a living" or something along those lines.

I didn't know how to answer that and I just was told I'm a #baller, so that's it. Thanks Gene!
