A review with a slightly different approach than customary!

I want to buy a ss daytona (white) for myself. I can only find one for sale at non-authorized Rolex dealers (for about $12,600). Is it safe to purchase from a reputable non authorized dealer?

You need something then in black and white stating that the whole watch is 100% original Rolex backed preferably with money back guarantee. Also unless the watch is much cheaper than an AD, otherwise it may still be better to get from AD. If you are really worried about the non-AD, get it to the nearest Rolex Service Centre to authenticate.

I think its easier on the mind and you will be assured that Rolex has the serial number tied to your name. In Singapore, we will have to pay $75 SGD just to authenticate the watch(to deter scam artists) but i understand they only charge for authentication here in Singapore and nowhere else.

sure as long as its a known dealer. or you can buy from someone on this forum as long as you ask for all papers etc.

but dont expect to pay list price anywhere...

Hi sngricky, do they authenticate the watch which we bought overseas or pre owned but without paper ? will appreciate your comments
