Based on your current collection, I would vote for a Exp II. The white would add some nice contrast to your collection.

Fair play though, he did fess up to not paying attention. Nowhere near as bad as our friend who firstly said that I considered a Sub a downgrade and then suggested a Hulk. That had me busting a rib!

Thank you kindly, my friend
Thank you, Seth. I'm excited already and I could be waiting weeks Well spotted, sir! I write reports for a living so I love messing with the English language (and people's heads)

Yes I've gathered that But I do get confused sometimes by the different brands of English, especially Singlish

Sorry to hear that the "Batman" is gone from your collection. That's just a fantastic watch. Congrats on the quick sale. Good luck with your new adquisition. I would go SD In SS with white gold bezel.

I tried a WG SkyD today and whilst it's a beautiful watch, I'm not convinced it's for me.

You have great ss Rolex already. Nothing original here but I'd want
116500w (good luck finding sadly) Ym rhodium - source oyster flex somehow (again GL finding) Airking / unique and kinda ugly but I dig that Ss skydweller - blue or black. I never played the flute until recently and I'm glad I went for it. Can teach old dog new tricks |

I know you said no PM, but.... I think the YM 116655 would look awesome in your line up and not too redundant with your already exceptional collection of divers. The oysterflex strap and ceramic bezel just looks awesome with the gold case. Congrats on moving the BLNR. If you weren't feeling it, it was time for it to go.

Ruud, Did you not notice the glaring picture of the DaytonaC? I must have missed the response to that. Why not add a second Daytona and maybe even sell the first? Also I can tell from the thread you're smitten by the YMs; aren't they just dressed up dive watches? They are in my mind at least. If you are considering YMs then go for a real YM, the YMII. It's much more than an overdressed dive watch. The reason I said the SD4K is because of its relatively short run and being the last of the standard SDs. It's worth owning.

Point taken I guess I should update my signature too. You made the call about that 737 yet? I haven't gotten around to it just yet. I'm hoping to make time to visit the boutique on Saturday. |

I really would not wear a YM II. I hear you on the SD4K, but with two Subs and a D-Blue, it would be kind of redundant. I've liked the YM blue and platinum dials for a long time and nearly bought one before I had the call for the D-Blue. [QUOTE=brandrea;7874685] Quote:

[QUOTE=Ruud Van Driver;7874802]What's a Gentas? Does it have anything to do with shitgibbons?
I did, Lee. I saw a DaytonaC in the flesh and it did absolutely nothing for me. I can honestly say, hand on heart, if I was offered one at an AD at retail I would pass. I really would not wear a YM II. I hear you on the SD4K, but with two Subs and a D-Blue, it would be kind of redundant. I second the YM idea (maybe the Rhodium dial). If you're willing to look outside Rolex and spend more $$$ maybe an AP Royal Oak or PP Aquanaut.

When you can't bond with a watch, find a new owner! I can't wait for your replacement!

Awesome thread, since the white DaytonaC isn't speaking to you (to complement your black 520), I second the 116622 Blue. Neil's shots are gorgeous. I think it would be a nicely added pop of color to your collection along with your Hulk!
A curve ball/dark horse would be a rhodium DJ41 on Oyster/Smooth bezel, still would feel "sporty", give you a bit dressier of a piece for some versatility, and could give you more color/dial variety in your collection since you have blue, green, and black covered! As always, can't go wrong in any case. Looking forward to the incoming thread! |

you definitely need a classic. Perhaps a stunning Mk1 1675 GMT?
