Help required in London please

Would any of our London based members be prepared to view a watch for me in a West End used dealer at relatively short notice during the next 3 days please?

Please PM me if anyone can help.

Nothing in it for you other than:

1. My eternal gratitude
2. Giving you the pleasure of some major enabling
3. I will put your name in lights post-transaction on TRF!!!

Dam!!
A week ago I would have been able to help out, as I was there myself collecting my new addition.
And knowing Roger's watch history, I have no doubt that rootbeer7 will see some great pieces..

Ah, nice idea, I'm looking at picking up a used piece in London (if the guy will ever follow up on my email/calls!) so might have to try the some. Nice to see there is such a helpful community out there!

Any recommendations for trusted dealers in the UK? Would very much like to inquire about prices on a few pateks, and if the price is right, make a few purchases myself. best

You mean this one - actually a JA not EP? Getting a lot of wrist time at the moment. After my London trip it may be relegated to the safe for a bit!

Sorry yes I meant JA. Such an awesome piece. It's a shame you don't see many AP dress watches on the forum.

Glad you are enjoying it. Congrats on the incoming too I can't wait to see them.

Thanks for the comments. Yes AP dress watches don't get the credit they deserve IMHO.

Just not so cheap for us. But it is ok, we will try take solace in the fact that our self-generated uncertainty is giving all you good non-British folk some cracking deals!

Yeah good luck finding the heavy hitters, 5167/5711/5712 I would imagine they are impossible to find at the moment...
