Totally agree with the above statement. I'm getting some inspiration to spend my hard earned $ on here, so keep them coming.

Rolex Air King Date

Hi there,

I purchased this Air King Date back in 1980 here in Cape Town, South Africa.

Dealers tell me that Rolex does not make Air King with the date any more.

Anyone able to tell me how to get rid of the scratches on the glass?

Thanks

Any light abrasive will work, even toothpaste. But if the scratches are deeper, I use wet sandpaper (mask off everything but the crystal), using as high a grade as will remove the scratch. That is generally 1500 grit, followed by 2000, followed by 3000. At that point, the polishes will finish the job.
