For thickness, I think for an elegant style sports watch like a RO or Nautilius, thinness is expected,But for a tool watch, people may tolerate a thicker dimension, of course it is all personal taste. I have declined a 5726 and 5990 offer as I believe in thin elegant Nautilius.
All fair points and while I disagree about the flaring of the bracelet or the white space, that’s why different people like different watches.

I certainly understand why someone may prefer a thinner watch but at 10.4mm it’s far from thick. Once you start wearing the ROC I can agree with you more - although I still don’t mind it, but then I’m a heavier set guy.
I used to wear the DSSD but found myself gravitating towards smaller and thinner references.

The 15510 is thinner than the Submariner and no one is complaining that’s too thick.

But we know you dislike AP so..
Why the personals attacks?

Looks great on you. The 37mm fits my 6.5 inch wrist perfectly.

I have a 7 inch wrist and have a 50th anniversary 41mm chrono in RG AND the 37mm with the grey dial...tbh, I like the fit of the 37 more as its just a mega classic gent's size and really elegant. I do like my 41mm chrono, but it DEF fits more like an offshore than the previous generation did, and while I like it for the punch, I wish it was the older proportion. Anyways, def pick up that 37!!!

Hi all,

I got the 15550st ice blue dial as my first AP purchase from the boutique two weeks ago and I can confirm the SA said :

''You are lucky, this model is usually only sold to women''

I have a 15.5cm wrist size so even a 39mm jumbo is too large for me. Maybe that's why I was offered it even tho I'm a man.
Very happy about it ! what a great watch !

Wow nicely done! The ice blue is great, surprised they sold to you as a first purchase.
