Even with my Salmon bias I must say the 5740 is by far the showstopper of this year’s releases IMO. It is such a killer piece

The 5740G is really a big hit. It was almost impossible to take it off my wrist.

The ideal reward to celebrate two milestones in 2019...

Certainly a wonderful piece. I have to say I was not expecting to notice the yellow tinge to the white gold in the way I did.

As a non Aquanaut fan I was actually very impressed with the new chrono.

Has anyone noticed a similar tinge on ,5976?

Wow! Great pics! I too really like the 5740. To me it has everything I would want, a stellar blue dial, a complication I can use and itís a Nautilus on a bracelet.

It is interesting that some of the automatic pieces actually run as they are being handled at Patek events - the time has moved on a couple of minutes since I tried the same piece on in early June. I understand the crown is disabled but in certain circumstances the self winding rotor will supply power to allow the pieces to work.

I wonder how many of us on the forum will try on the very same watch as it travels the country. Quite amusing that so many of us will have had it on our wrist at some point.

I noted the same, when I tried it on in the beginning of May it was at 10:11 and I tried it on recently again and it was at 10:15. I was told 5740G would be delivered in very limited numbers, for the first batch Rhone would only get 10 pieces.

I'd like to say the guy I had to yank it off had a huge wrist but was quite the opposite, looked like Little Lord Fauntleroy, what what, he even had a monocle.
