AD hosted the Basel pieces at a wonderful event yesterday. Some pics of my 3 favourite pieces.

I will have a chance to see the pieces again later this week so if anyone would like to request a shot of any of the other pieces I will see what I can do.

Nice pics. Think I'd prefer the Aqua to have a round subdial. Date window is fine by me.

Beautiful piece. I was lucky enough to be waring my 5711/1P - I can confirm the blue dial is an identical colour blue. What did surprise me is how yellow the white gold is compared to SS and PT. Lovely weight piece.

I took a look at the 5740 and whilst I prefer the dial colour of the 5711/5712, it’s an absolutely amazing watch, no question about it.

Nice. Proves to be something that distinguishes from SS for the Nautilus series is a nice touch. I always notice my WG Rolex has a more yellowish sheen compared to my SS, your pictures tell a similar story as well. Thanks again for the great insight and pictures you shared!

The 5270p is sublime from these shots also....just out of my comfort level on what I'm willing to spend for now.

Those are my 3 favourites from Basel 2018 as well. I like the 5740G most followed by 5968A and 5270P. I am yet to see the 5968A with an orange strap in real life, have you seen one?

Odd question: did you take a pic of the Aquanaut clasp? Wasn’t it updated?

I was amazed it wasn’t on the orange strap but no it wasn’t supplied to the AD.

I’m not an expert on aquanaut’s so not sure of the clasp changes, certainly the Nautilus was wearing the new clasp design. Easier to operate than before but it is larger and not as sleek.

Mechanism of the push down is the same but it has a Calatrava cross motif on the clasp, think it is the same one as on the 5740. Looks to be taking design cues from AP.

Not sure I like it on the Nautilus as while it is easier to operate, it ruins the smooth-lined bracelet effect. So I think it works better on the Aquanaut's rubber.

They only had it for last week. Maybe contact PP UK and find out where they are this week. Some have said Bournemouth.

Salmon piece is fantastic! But i deeply dislike the aqua chrono and nautilus PC. Something seems to be off design wise but to be fair, i haven't tried them on.

Picture is from AD exhibition- with the introduction of the 5270P I decided against taking the 5170P.

That's a heavy-hitters lineup right there!

What are your impressions of the 5270P after seeing it again?

And, if you ranked those three, how would it look?

5170P and 5270P are both beautiful but actually very different from each other.

Split second piece is sublime. The case is a work of art, the movement adds a layer for the rattrapante to become a city of parts and the black grand feu enamel draws you in as if it were liquid. 👍

Wow! Appreciate the feedback and very interesting that the 5270P ranks last. To spend that kind of money on a watch, it needs to be top dog in my book. I'm extremely happy with my 5170P. I also look forward to seeing the 5270P, but it has to be PERFECT in EVERY way before it has a chance.
