Hi, fellow TRF'ers.

Offering for sale---with considerable reluctance due to my strong feelings for it--my F-series Audemars Piguet 15300 Royal Oak with blue dial, in "Near Mint" (93%)condition according to the TZ grading scale. All boxes and papers are supplied, including those documenting AP services.

I purchased this specimen in late 2005 when I worked in the watch industry at an authorized dealer which represented AP. Over that time, I have worn the watch often but carefully, and have meticulously sent the piece in to AP Clearwater for its recommended services along the way (a water resistance service, one factory refinishing a few years ago, and a full overhaul this year). The full overhaul--a service costing just under $1,000--was done in March 2012 and assures that the watch is in tip-top shape mechanically and ready for many more years of enjoyable wear.

I'm asking $10,150 USD -- a figure I see as pretty reasonable considering that the 15300 is no longer in production and getting tougher to find, and this one has been meticulously cared for and recently fully overhauled with the majority of its 2-yr. service warranty remaining. If a flawless Royal Oak is a must for you...a quick trip to AP (for $300 or so) will get the watch to its factory original perfection and you'll have an effectively brand new 15300ST at well under 11K out of pocket. That said, such a refinish is hardly necessary as the exterior condition is excellent overall.

I welcome a local deal in the Seattle/Puget Sound area, or will happily ship within the CONUS via USPS Registered Mail once a bank wire has cleared. I don't regularly offer watches for sale as many of our fine members do, but have been around the various horology forums for years, (most notably, TimeZone since 2004) and have sold/traded pieces from my collection and various watch related items from time to time since then. References will be happily granted, although Mr. David Williams--whom I've done two deals with--should hopefully suffice to satisfy fellow TRFers. :) References from prospective buyers are also greatly appreciated from my end.
