That has been polished. Lug holes are soft.

1655 with a Mk4 dial which would be correct for the serial number of the watch. I would say the dial is in nice condition and the lume appears intact. The orange hand has faded, and it appears that the tritium may be almost falling out of the hand. The case appears to have moderate wear but appears fat with original chamfer on the 5 o'clock lug still present. The 78360 bracelet is correct.

Lighting and camera angles make cases look better and worse then they generally are. Unpolished is an overused term and somehwhat of an oxymoron since all cases are polished at the factory. That being written, the lughole photo shows a very soft border which generally means some type of polish either by hand or machine. Attached is a pretty sharp lug hole. The only way to really tell is to have the watch in hand. From the photos i would not be able to definitely write that it is unpolished.
However, i love the watch. The case has character and i really like the honest tool watch fade. The case is also very fat. Stabilize the 24hr hand and you have a great watch that many on this site would envy. Beaumont has forgotten more than i know about rolex so if he writes positively about the watch that is a great endorsement. |

Looks like an honest example, with a polished case (see how the lug holes go in) but still somewhat meaty lugs. I'd be worried about the tritium on the hands, especially on the 24-hour hand. That's gonna fall out at some point, perhaps soon. This watch might be a good candidate to have the tritium stabilized on the hands. Good luck either way!
