Correct box for 1680 Red

Hello

I was wondering if any of the experts new the correct box for my watch. It's a Mark V Red from about 1972 serial 306xxxx.

No right answer to the question. A few boxes were used during that period. Also sets were constructed and deconstructed at the AD and differed from region to region. Either of these would do just fine.

A Rolex Seahorse Box would also be correct.

The seahorse or green-stripe boxes are the two that I am most familiar with from that era.

I have a MK1 Red, original box and papers ,the case back is stamped 1969, 2.15 serial number, sold in the US and this is the box I have , So as GM says this would be fine ,I would agree it is correct

I have a spare seahorse box if you are interested....pm me.

I went through a phase where i collected boxes and ephemera but i realized a little too late that you cant put a box on your wrist. When i realized i had the equivalent of a nice vintage rolex in boxes and calendars....i started to cull my collection.
