Worst refinished dial ever?
I love these old Thunderbirds, but even though the ad denotes a refinished dial, WHO WOULD BUY THIS?
So what are some of the worst redials you've seen. I'd like to see them to see if it gets any worse than this. Please, someone, cleanse my eyes! Screen Shot 2016-07-08 at 5.42.07 PM.jpg |

If the price was right I'd buy it and get another dial ;)

Here are before and after shots of my 6465's dial. Phil Ridley sent the "as purchased" piece away to have the badly refinished version refinished again. I certainly appreciate the difference.

Based on what I have learned on this forum, this is a difficult dial to source, so the poor examples have all sorts of things done to them to make them presentable, since replacements are unobtainable. You also need the specific date wheel to go with it. I would love to find a decent original 1625 dial for one of my watches, but will probably have to go the refinish route eventually (haven't given up yet).
