62523H Clasp

Okay Rolex experts - I'm stumped on this one and no one on Watchuseek can give me an answer. Could a clasp for a 62523H (two tone Datejust) from the mid 80's have seven holes rather than eight? I read somewhere that the clasp from a man's Datejust should have 8 holes - less than that and it's probably counterfeit. I'm looking for a clasp and some of the ones I've seen on ebay look legit, but only have 7 holes. Seems like women's bracelets have 7 holes, but not men's as far as I can see.

Thanks,
Bruce

Seven on this Rolex diagram unless you include the river pin

Hey, thanks for the diagram. I'm going to assume that 8 is correct and stay away from anything with 7 holes.
