Yeah, really hard to tell anything with these photos.
Plenty of M serials with box and papers available. AD's don't do much in terms of authenticating, at least mine doesn't. They won't open it because it would need to be pressure tested if they did and with the Deep Sea I think most AD cannot even properly pressure test it. They don't give it to the watchmaker the salesperson just gives the watch a once over and says yay or nay but honestly they know less than me when it comes to spotting quality fakes.

pictures don't offer enought info. if the seller is willing to meet at an ad, that's better than pix anyway.

I don't like it. Bad pics, but it looks off when zoomed in. Look at pearl and triangle:

Look at the "Original Gas Escape Valve" engraving - The "E" in valve doesn't finish in the right place. Should split the 2 o'clock marker. Dead fake.

A lot of people say willing to meet at an AD but then make thousands of excuses why they cannot... the dial print looks suspect from the pics provided and that pearl is definitely wrong... I'd say chalk it up as a fake

Even with those pics, the dial looks off. The gap (and dash) between Sea-Dweller is too small, the crown looks short and fat, the Ring Lock System text looks badly aligned.
As mentioned before the Perl and triangle look terrible, but the minute markers seem to be shorter after the 50 mark too. There are too many problems to blame on poor resolution photographs here. I'm thinking barge poles, and not touching it with one. |

OP, the DSSD is the replica that's easiest to get the closest to genuine. Be very very careful when looking at these. As already pointed out, we would need far better pics than those provided to say with certainty. However, there are already enough clues to lean significantly towards faker if these are the best pics he will give you. I would bet you a steak dinner that if you press him to meet at a rolex expert, he will never meet you there......
