Price was a big factor. It was another 15k for the 16202. I found a way to make the 15202 work and be within reason.

to me i could use the extra money towards another watch. the 15202 and 16202 are very similar from aesthtics point of view.

Congrats! Def prefer the 15202 to the 16202 bc of the 2121 movement. I would want a piece of the original and could deal with the minor issue of lack of quick set date. Enjoy!

Classics never die, I prefer the 15202st myself because of the JLC 2121. Despite the newer movement being better I prefer the romanticism of the original movement hailing from the 5402 era. Congrats.
