First "possible" Rolex purchase.. need help verifying 1989 Datejust
Hi guys! Long time lurker, first time poster. I've finally saved up a little bit for a Datejust purchase and came across one that's at a fair price, complete with box and papers. I'm still going through The Rolex Report, but was hoping someone here could lend a hand with verification.
On to the pics! I had him send me these today via phone: These were the pictures on his original listing: The serial # he provided me was: L6553XX Thanks for any help! I truly appreciate it |

I agree with this, my original thought was box was correct for age. They definitely used this box on early 90s models and the paperwork dates at 1990. All is complete and is the correct age I am certain now.
