Is that the one Darryl had for sale? I see it's sold now. If so, nice pickup, he's my absolute favourite "local" dealer (I'm in Perth). Sweet watch man. As they say, wear the hell out of it!

14060 is a great tool watch. If you want something vintage, go for 5513 with mattie dial.

I have owned one and sold it, now regretting that. It is IMHO one of the coolest and best looking watches Rolex have ever built. Made to be worn daily.

Ideal for everyday use. But you already have a Submariner. I would buy an Explorer ll 16570

Absolutely. My 14060 is my go to weekend watch, and it is not babied at all.

Enjoy!

Not only that it is OK as a daily wear, it is absolutely PERFECT for any occasion!
14060M is made to be a tool watch, very tough and sturdy, with 300m water resistance...
Not only that, this is IMHO the last Rolex that have that vintage vibe without being decidedly designed to remind of vintage (like bunch of totally awesome watches from Omega, Tudor, Longines or Oris).
Great watch and a true classic!

I have its older brother 14060 without the M, wear it every weekday as a beater and purchased for exactly that. Just noticed it is only running -5 seconds from atomic clock, seems like it has been a few weeks since I set it.

Absolutely. While the 14060 is very nice, it's nothing so special that you can't wear it. It's just a standard production Sub, just as your 114060

I would add if it has an oyster case it is a perfect daily wear regardless of model or metal.

When I bought mine, I went out of my way to find a 2 line 14060M with holes. I have worn it daily since I bought it almost 2 years ago.

A local dealer has just listed a 'pristine' example for a fair price and I want it! Now the hard part - is this a watch that needs to be babied as a collectable, or can I actually wear this watch on a day to day basis? Can I add this to my collection and give it serious wrist time? I don't think I'm quite up to the stage where I can buy a watch but not wear it!
Thanks in advance
Would doubt if any 14060 would be classed as collectable and all 14060 and 14060M had lug holes. The M stands for modified the change from the cal 3000 to the cal 3130 in 2000.And all watches including Rolex are meant to be worn thats what they are for, just telling the time on the wrist.
