Question About DLC coating?

I maybe considering a pam617 just wonder how durable is the coating compared to ceramic ? If any owner had any issues with DLC

Thx

Ceramic won't fade and pretty much scratch resistant. That said, if you drop a ceramic on a concrete or tile floor....bye bye watch.

DLC is a thick tough coating. If you wear it all the time it will eventually start to wear around the edges. If you scratch it HARD against a commercial door jam or other hard material, it will scratch. If you drop your watch on a hard surface, it won't shatter the case. You can re-DLC a watch 3rd party. There are some pretty good people out there but it won't be OEM anymore of course.
