Royal Oak white or Black dial ?

Order of preference for me is blue, black, then white.

Betweeb black and white, def the black. Sold my white cause the lack of contrast nade it hard to read the time.

Also consider this, there are not many good looking white dials, yes I maybe stirring some peoples opinions BUT there are many more good looking black dial watches. I would rather do a black or blue dial on another watch

Put in the order for a 15202st blue dial, it might pop up before you know it. I wouldn't get either the black or white dial if that isn't the watch you want to keep in the end.. have you considered a diver instead of a 15400?

Tried one yesterday ..15701 Black dial..didn't like it much and as of now I'm not looking for chronograph in AP.

I love the white; for me there was no question it was my preference.
Blue would be my next choice and black last.

Blue is my first choice and then I would select black vs white depending on what else you own. I like both the white and black dials so if i had more of a need for light vs dark-- and base my decision that way

In the process of ordering the 41mm. Can’t decide on white or black. No boutiques in Canada so blue is out of the question. Saw the white a few weeks ago but was not very easy to read. Perhaps it was the bright lights at the AD. Just wanted to hear from others about the differences that they’ve experienced.

Black dial. I have seen both, and for me it is not close, black by a mile. but to each his own. Also some people complain that the 15400 is big on the wrist, having it on black dial makes a huge difference on how it will look on your wrist. it will look much smaller

It would depend on which RO model. I.e. 15300 the black looks better than the white.

For the 15400, the silver/white looks better than the black in my opinion.

Pure aesthetics. For RO I like the blingy look of the silver vs. the dullness of the black (at certain angles and lighting).

Usually yes unless you're a big time customer and they don't want to lose your business. For average Joe's, you need to buy extra links.

I agree on that ruthenium dial! For me, it is between that and the silver. I also found the ruthenium seems to wear smaller than the silver, which for me is a plus. Maybe because there isn't as much contrast between the dial and the case as there is on the silver.

The grey is 37 mm. I have an 7.5 inch wrist. Would it be too small?

There is a grey 15400ST, 41mm.
My wrist is 7", and I find that 37mm is too small for me.
But that does not mean you or someone else will consider it small.
Best is to try the two sizes on, even if it's not the exact same model you are considering buying.
