Seiko SARB017

Damn, that's a great looking watch!! Anyone have one? I have a SARB065 that, in my opinion, has one of the sexiest dials around but this alpinist......

Great looking watch. I like the green dial and they also do a ice blue which is nice. I am a fan of Seiko and appreciate them more and more each day.

There is so many things I love about that watch. The colors work so well together and love the dark date wheel. Only thing I dont like is the words at the bottom.

I have one. Put a Hirsch strap on it. Brown with white stitching. Picture later today.

I am not the OP, but it is not vintage. You can buy a new one today.

The first picture in this thread has a much better shot of the brilliant green dial. I think my shot is distorted by the beige tablecloth. It is a very interesting green dial that varies in different lighting situations.

Yep that's a very appealing dial with the sunburst pattern. If I don't end up picking one up someday I'll be amazed.......maybe even next month! Beautiful watch!

I have the Alpinist and Cocktail Time as well. Both have amazing dials that pop in the sun. I love them both.

Hi Guys , Just found this thread. Todays choice is, Alpinist on Super Jubilee . Hasn't been worn in many a month but swopped over onto a Super Jubilee Bracelet last night & really like the look. So I think it might get some more wrist time, especially this time of year as the green sunburst dial & gold really stands out with the Autumnal colours .

I'm a big fan of the Alpinist! I think the shade of green is just perfect, and I also love the interior rotating compass. Really great watch in my opinion!
