I've had both, although the YM had the silver (platinum) face. I found that the PCLs and bezel scratched way too easy. It is more dressy than the hulk, IMHO.

I sold the hulk because after a year, it lost its appeal to me. I still think it's a gorgeous watch, but for me, the green was too much. I try to dress in a semi-coordinated fashion.

What matters though, is what you like. I suggest that you buy both of them used, wear them over the summer, see which one you want to keep and sell the other one.

I recently got the YM and love the blue dial with red accents. So far my bezel is flawless and looks beautiful against the blue, but it will not be as stout as my ceramic Sub I know so I don't wear it all the time. I may trade my black for a LVc later as summer is coming and I like my sunburst dials.

Oh they made the YM 2. Put a YM on oysterflex. All over the place.
Just do not like and the bezel makes the dial look smaller on the wrist. An optical illusion but still the same.

Just about as bulky as a submariner. They call the YM the dressy sub.

You like the blue dial, do you like the DJ2 with blue dial?? Not as bulky as the sub either.

Sub you don't want. It's the LVC, LV Sub. Green sub.'

You mentioned a hulk. Nobody knows what that is lol.

I don't even know where to start. 116622 is not discontinued. YM2 is not a YM on oysterflex, it is a completely different watch. 'They' call the YM the dressy sun, but 'nobody knows' what a hulk is?

I'm biased...but I'd choose SubLv. I'm just more attracted to the submariner line than YM. Both are great looking dials though.

Yeah. You summed up my thoughts pretty good there.

Thanks for that.

Nobody knows what a hulk is??

Which of these 2 do you prefer, please discuss.
If you're looking for a summer watch with color, I would suggest the Milgauss Z-Blue. And save yourself some money. Or, if you wanted to spend a little more, the YM on oyster flex. That seems like a fun "summery" piece.

Between the two you mention, the LV-c is the better buy. But, it's all about what you like, not the dollars and cents.

Lvc easy. I prefer new gray dial on the ym. Personally I'm waiting for them to slap the black bezel on it. Maybe with the rubber too

Do they make LVc for British market?

I would go for the Hulk. Both are great options, but the green is just stunning.

I can't think of a watch that speaks spring and summer better than the Hulk. For more justification, I'd rather have a new watch than a second hand one. Although, i must admit that the YM is great looking too, especially in business attire.

Hulk, easy choice, will look after you better financially, a lot more recognisable, distinctive and there are and have been too many versions of yacht master, that model is all over the place.

YM blue is awesome. I use mine as my dress watch. It's extremely comfortable. Get it! You won't be disappointed.

Both are very beautiful watches, but personally I would go for blue YM. It's more versatile and more elegant at the same time IMHO.

Boht are classy and stylish. I love the bezel and dial of the YM which I think it is quite stunning. The YM easily dresses up or down because the color of the platinum dial blends with nearly all choices of any wardrobe. Good luck with your decision.

The Hulk is my favorite. It is very unique and I love the cerachrom bezel feature. It is versatile and perfect for any occasion.

Excellent views here.
I tried on both and like the shiny YM, but got me thinking of using it as a summer watch being too dressy. I pampered my BLNR for its PCL which limit wrist time.
I also like the idea of RubberB pair to the hulk, which I can see myself doing. The green sunburst is lovely, I only thought the new case is bulky on my wrist, which got me looking at the YM, then saw the price difference.

Watchwatcher you know my shopping process, the idea of a summer watch came from the ZBlue which got me started on this, I may pick it up. I love the weighty feel of it, perfectly delicious.

Both are attractive watches, but I would vote LVc as green is the color of summer. Plus you get the 300m depth rating for water activities, excellent glide lock braclet and scratch resistant bezel. But of course whatever you buy has to fit your wrist and fashion tastes. Good luck & Cheers!

Was faced with similar decision, went LVC. The green dial and bezel just pops!

I say hulk...love the green in the sun...

In theory (love blue dial watches) I should be a YM blue dial lover...something about the bezel throws me off?

Go hulk

Hulk and it's not even close. See them both in person and you'll go Hulk. No two ways about it.
