Icon20 3s about right ???

I've always been a 1 watch guy , on the odd occasion I've had two for a short time but I always seem to let one go and not for financial reasons just boredom of the watch to be honest .

I currently own a Deepsea blue ( in plastics never yet worn ) how sad is that !
And a blackbay black with the riveted bracelet and the new inhouse movement which I wear every day , I'd just like to say it's an amazing watch the build , weight , quality is staggering , it's like a modern vintage submariner lol ! For about the third of the price of a non date submariner !

Which leads me on to thinking I'd like to build up my collection by adding another 2 steel sports the watches I'm thinking of are the Hulk and the Blnr
Im keeping the blackbay and will have 4 watches in total .
I'm not bothered over a black submariner as I have two black bezel watches already .

What would you add in my position ??? Many thanks

Basel may change things if a steel Pepsi is released

Personally I would just wait until Basel before I made any decisions.

Sounds like the perfect 4 watch collection. I've got the LVC and BLNR so I can speak from experience as far as those two are concerned, I've just put a deposit down on a DBlue which is a bit of a grail for me, tried on the Black Bay on a few occasions and totally agree with your assessment on that one. I would definitely be taking the stickers off the DBlue and wearing it at least 50% of the time until you managed to get hold of the others

Subs and GMT make great siblings. I think you're on the right path.

I think that's a nice 4, well 3.5 until the stickers come off, but I think a blue sunburst dial is really worth having and is the ace in the pack so the TT/YG Sub or YM would be in my final 4.

I am really enjoying the BLNR and the whole GMT II experience. Comfortable, practical and elegantly sporty.

If you have a deepsea in stickers and wear and love your Tudor everyday, why do you want to add 2 more watches again?

Read the one watch article and stick to your guns. You don't have to buy watches to enjoy them.

Black bay, hulk, BLNR, and deep sea. Sounds like 4 stainless watches that all basically look the exact same. I vote to keep it to 2 watches and have one of them be precious metal. Maybe 116619 or 116618

I'd sell the Deepsea, forgo the Hulk and get a WG Sub. Then add the BLNR. Keep it at 3 with one PM.....that would be a great collection.

This is a really good idea, but I would say YG Sub.

That's basically all the same watch. Get a chronograph.

There not all the same watch , the hulks green for starters and the blnr is black and blue and the Deepsea is chunk not to mistaken for anything else and the blackbay is neither of the above , I picked those watches because they have a splash of colour on them and there still not that common , I haven't come across any Rolex steel sports that weren't the black dial submariners I the wild , I'm trying to give variety to keep the enjoyment flowing .

Isn't it weird that you called it a Hulk and a BLNR?

Not Batman?

I liked that article and for about 10 years I was a "1 Watch" guy but I didn't make it

But I also noticed in that article that between those two guys someone didn't have a clue what time it really was...

i prefer the simplicity of having one watch but there are more watches than one i like and the complication caused by having more than watch is outweighed by the pleasure of owning all the watches i like

The Hulk and Batman are stupid good additions. I had the choice between the two and the sunburst green dial won out.

Well said Douglas! I am with you on that one!! OP hasn't removed the stickers on the Dblue yet he is already lusting for some new pieces.
No offense to OP of course as I have been down that route too but find myself much happier with just one watch. Not that I don't have the money to have 10 hahaha!!!

Its possibly the thrill of the chase ? By adding a couple more watches with a bit of colour I'm hoping to end my addiction ! It's worst than crack cocaine ! The watch game !
