Questions on Rolex identity?

My gradfather left me a watch , which i think he purchased for himself in the mid 80's, its looks like a date just and much smaller than my sub. I have listed the model and the serial # and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on it. When i pull the model # online it reads as a quartz movement for rolex however it clearly has a mechanical movement

R380271 model 17014,

cheers

Indy

The 17014 is an Oysterquartz with a WG bezel and a 5035 movement. I know they released some auto models in the same case as the OQ but I'm not sure if those had a separate Ref #. I'm pretty sure someone on here has one.

Leo, is the watch worth anything in regards to collection value?
