I thought the crown looked odd for a PAM... now I know why!!! I never would have guessed that - I mean, how many 3646 w/California dials are there... less than 50 is my guess! AFAIK, in 1942 the cali dial was used for a specific batch of 3646 ordered by the Marina Militare on short notice and not having the standard Panerai dials on hand, Rolex offered to use their promo dials for that one batch... ! Yours?
