As a kid be an astronaut, not fulfilled, as a teenager hang out with Keith Moon and Oliver Reed for a week, not fulfilled so thankfully still here. Did once find a stack of dumped girlie mags with a friend when I was 13 so had some luck

As a kid in the 80s I watched Magnum PI regularly. I always wanted to "grow up" and live his (Thomas Magnum's) lifestyle.

Let's see here:

-lives rent free on a killer beachfront estate in Oahu
-has nearly unlimited access to a Ferrari 308 GTS (a very hot car at the time)
-works only when he wants to
-has a buddy with a helicopter to tote him around the islands
-has nearly unlimited access to a prestigious club and drinks are on the house
-has nearly umlimited access to stewardesses that Robin Masters meets and then has as guests at the estate

I mean, c'mon

While I don't quite live this lifestyle in my 30s now, I am very grateful for what I have including my two Doberman Pinschers. Oh, and I'm on the hunt for the perfect 16750 these days ...

I remember playing with a toy Viper while watching that old Viper TV show (remember the one with the Viper that turned Silver and was intelligent a la Night Rider?). I believe I was 10 when they came out and I had posters of them, saved copies of the car mags featuring them, everything.

Now that I'm old enough to afford one (a 1st or 2nd gen anyway), I just can't make a case for one. I've only been married a year, will no doubt be having kids in the not too distant future, and have to move for my job. Maybe, if my good fortune continues, I'll be able to buy the new generation in the next few years.
I would be happy to give you a ride in mine.......I got that instead of the horse I really wanted!!!

In 1999 i was 12years old and took a picture next to a c5 limitied edition pace car (purple and yellow) we had three them in a local new cars dealer, they sold 2 of them and they still have new one (model 1998 still not sold up to today)
Hehehe, I would be happy to take you for a ride.....My Z06 is a C5 and I have some blue leather accents, instead of the red.

Yup. A GMT-Master ref. 16750. Tom Selleck has been spotted wearing the same reference in public and in more recent television appearances.

Ha! I should probably abstain. I would likely sell off all of my possessions to buy one if I were to get a ride in a 3rd gen like yours.

Beautiful car by the way. Blue has been my favorite color on a Viper (other than gen 1s) since the GTS came out back in the 90's.

I was always enamored with Harley's ever since I could remember. I worked and saved for a long time and purchased by first one at 15 (complete wreck which I wrenched on for months to get it working). Fast forward many years and some gray hair, and I still love them as much as when I first layed my eyes on them!

Martin, you need to post more often because you always make me laugh.

I always wanted an Easy Bake Oven. Never got one. A generation later, bought one for my daughter and we wondered what the big deal was. Some how, I think the ones from the 1960s were probably equipped a little better for cooking than the new ones, which have one measly little light bulb. I mean seriously, have you ever tried cooking anything with a light bulb?

Don't remember wanting adult stuff as a kid.

I just wanted He Man toys. Had quite a few, but always remember not having Man-E-Faces and Trap Jaw. I wanted them bad but parents never got them for me. I have never forgiven them

By the power of Grayskull!!!

I love it! I remember receiving a special He Man 'set' for Xmas one year which would seep goo onto your figurine. I begged and pleaded and was exstatic when I received. That was until the first time I used it. In the hot sun of my back yard, the goo got into all of the nooks and crannies of their joints. They never quite worked right again and always had a strange chemical smell to them.

That pretty much ended my He Man days for me. Too much of a good thing...

think one of my mates had that, do remember it. Trying to think what happened to my Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain. My parents have moved a couple of times, probably threw it out.

yes I remember, that was super cool, think I was the only one of my mates that had Snake Mountain, so my parents can't of been all bad. I forgive them. Although it didn't really look like snake mountain from the cartoon.

Old school Jeep Renegade or Laredo (round lights, silver grill, hard top/soft top/bikini top) to hit the Texas country roads in the summer. (STILL waiting for this one!)

I have always wanted a fishing boat, but I live no where near a lake, so it is kind of pointless now to get one.
