Not an expert but it doesn't seem so. The numerals are too thick

Hi , Best picture I can get of my 2009 LV insert , yours looks exactly like mine . So I would say genuine insert , I think the font may have changed over from thin font as on the flat four inserts, to the fat four font on later inserts .

Looks genuine. I would definitely talk to someone who can actually feel it though, I remember I knew someone that was going to give me an insert and was about 95% sure it was real. After having someone else get a feel for it comparing it to another one, it was fake.

The easiest way to tell is probably how much you paid for it. Kermit inserts aren't common -- not too many people want to turn their rare watch into a common one. If you feel like you got a very good price for it, it's probably not genuine.

Agree with above post. A genuine one cost around $400, thats if you can find one.

wow $500, I paid $140 for mines and it is definitely genuine. One way to tell is that the pearl at the 12 glows in the dark.

The metal on a fake insert is not as thick as on an original and bends very easy.
I've yet to see fake inserts replicated to look just like the originals; to include the pearl, fonts and the shape of the angles on the back side. This green insert looks fine to my eyes.
