SUN015P1 Kinetic GMT

Picked this Seiko up at retail a few months after its unveiling at BaselWorld 2013.

Extremely comfortable bracelet, SELs, independent GMT hand, fixed bezel though....

Quite a nice watch for the price, thanks for viewing! :)

Ive been looking at these for trench duty when the Rolex GMT would feel a bit much. It's a good looking watch. Did you happen to buy it in the US from a retailer (it's unclear to me if they are for sale here)?

Also, did you see it in person and have you eyeballed the blue dial version? Reason I ask is I've only seen pics and your black dial just comes off richer looking than the blue dial, but I sort of want to like the blue dial simply because I already have plenty of black dial watches.

Also, how's the lume, and are the bezel numerals also glow in the dark?

I've tried the blue dial version with dark blue bezel, and the yellow GMT hand looked kind of toy-ish to me so I opted for black.

No, the bezel numerals does not glow, I think these are available in the US these couple of months. Maybe an online retailer will have stock.

Imo the black is more striking, and at almost 44mm is mighty sized too :)

Hope this helps!

That looks great! I've been interested in one of those since Basel as well. I haven't seen one available in the US yet, but I haven't looked in the past few weeks either. I'm kind of wanting one to replace my current Seiko "beater." The old Velatura GMT. But I'm kind of attached to it.
