Finally got my blue Seamaster 300 M GMT!

I looked high and low at GMT's...really a tough decision. I finally settled on either a Sinn, Rolex GMTII or the blue 300M GMT. After seeing the 300M in person I quickly ruled out the others. The fact that I have a Sea-Dweller and wanted something a little less pricey and different looking made me go with the Omega over the GMTII. Here's a few pix...enjoy everyone! It's stunning in person!

Thanks! I didn't either until I saw it in person and did a double take. I thought maybe it was some limited Bond version or something but nope...all the blue 300M gmt's have the sapphire back.

Nice watch Charles! Yes, all GMTs even before the co-ax version had a display back.

The standard SMP has a SS back.

Thanks! Omega's site really needs more info...you'd never know it from browsing their specs.

Hope your happy with it even though it has a display back. Actually either the solid or display back, both will be good conversation topics!

I prefer the display back on this one...it looks sharp. The He valve is a little silly but mostly I wanted a GMT that I could take diving and when I travel.

Beautiful watch you have there.

I love the wave pattern on the dial and those skeleton hands. Enjoy, and wear it in good health.

Thanks everyone! Now to decide who gets wrist time? Anyone wear a watch on each hand?

Solo118 you can read about the co-ax technology here...pretty cool...early on so we'll see how it does over time:

Thanks very much! The pix were quick and dirty honestly...there aren't a lot of good shots of the blue Omega GMT floating around tho. It doesn't seem very popular.

Very nice! I like the hands on that Omega better than the other Omega 300 GMTs (the white and black dial with the 24 hour bezel).

The wave is cool...odd looking at certain angles tho. The skeleton hands are just gorgeous!

Thanks JJ! Would be nice if a sub could be had with a see-thru caseback.

Same here...I've been hot & cold on blue for a while but this one really did it for me. I'd love to see a SS blue sub with blue bezel! I don't think that's ever existed.
