So for the 5164 only the brown strap is a "real" option...

Brown strap

Nice shot! I wish I had a better computer screen, as it still looks like a black strap. Would you be able to please take a shot outside? Preferably under sunlight?

Sharp! That brown strap really warms it up. Are you able to take a snap under the sun? Does the brown affect the versatility? I.e. dressing up?

Don't have one, but will try to take one tomorrow.

It does look different than the black and matches the dial better in my opinion.

I use other watches to dress up so it's not an issue for me, but I don't think it changes the versatility of the watch much.

Now about that green strap!!! I want one, now...

Yes, it hasn’t been discontinued.
Just order it from your AD or HSWA directly.

^^^^^^^
I was also thinking about getting one. Should suit the colour of the dial quite nicely :)

5167 tropical green khaki strap

Sorry for bumping the thread again... thinking about buying the green strap for my 5167.

Dont PP ADs carry it in their stock? Im in NYC for vacation and planned to visit an AD and buy it, but reading the thread it seems like it is an "on order/request only"

Khaki green will be on the horizon, saw the chocolate brown (5167r) at the boutique think that looks smashing, it fits but only available to the rose gold version of 5167.

HWSA might have stock, but no guarantee.
Since they are made in batches, and to a preplanned schedule, then no stock means you’ll have to wait until the next production cycle has been sent out.

First the sales rep at Wempe said that Patek dont sell the green strap at all. He also said that Patek told him at the Basel fair that the green strap dont even exist and is not sold by patek.

I insisted that it was real. Then he brought out the patek catalouge, which informered him that the green strap is actually sold to the 5167A... in addition, he made a call to patek to find out how to order it. But the "strap person" was not available at the moment.

The sales rep got my contact details and would get back to me with more information

It's widely available in Hong Kong, simply walk in to any boutique and you'll have it in 15 minutes.

Sounds good

May I ask what you paid? If the sales rep at Wempe remembered correctly, it costed $240

How does it fit on the 5164? I was told that it wouldn't fit properly as the case dimensions are slightly different from the 5167. They have my order on pause currently.

Also the price I paid was either 235 or 255

Found this pic on HQ Miltons IG yesterday. The steel aquanaut looks very good with the blue rubber strap made for the WG version 5650G

I really hope it is possible to buy the blue strap from an AD in the same way as the green (which I now have purchased from an PP AD here in Europe)

I'm a fan. Patek should produce a range of colors for these straps. Just my opinion.
