Never try to match drink for drink with a Russian, Any Russian, a 12 year old girl or an elderly hospital patient. No matter who they are if they are Russian they can out drink you!! I'm Second generation Irish and I like my spirits, I can't keep up with Russian's twice my age, it's just a fact, head my advice... you'll regret it if you don't

The Hungarians don't too badly with their wine. I went drink for drink with a group of Hungarians once and didn't stand a chance. They clearly outdrank me. We still talk about it many years later.

True story. My job lets me meet interesting people. This thread made me think of a funny/scary meeting i once had.

when i was younger, i was meeting with an oligarch and I i asked a question about business practices in a complementary way, u know how he must be politically astute.... i thought he was going to jump over the table and kill me lol. I had to clarify my question slowly backing away from the table lol. I laugh now but this was scary at the time.

The only other time ive been nervous in my life was when i was forced to go visit a site and i was told i would get security training... little did i know that meant i get a body guard. This was not in russia lol

Thank god im older and i have a boring job now.

they are probably London members. Most Londoners with massive collections i have ever come across, are Russian or from the UAE or Saudi.

They also hang out at Harrods and the RM boutique
