Hi All,

Back to being a Rolex owner again! I bought a 114060 in 2013 and sold it in 2018 for a Seamaser 300 60th anniversary I toyed with the idea of picking up another 114060, but in honesty I found it a little too shiny and too much presence. Also the square shape didn't look great with straps which is something I like to play with. A chance encounter with a 5 digit Sub and the search was on. A few months on and I have my very own Y serial 14060M! It's been serviced and given a very light polish. Bracelet is pretty firm and lugs are sharp.

Wears like a dream. If anyone has any NATO brands they recommend that fit, please post. Shocked at the narrow gap and no strap I own will fit.

Anyway, thanks for reading!

If I have messed up, please say!!

Congratulations!! Excellent choice for a return to Rolex, Dan!

You just can’t go wrong with a 5-digit reference.

Congrats! Love my 14060. It goes just about anywhere and ages well. I’m partial to the cheapie Natos from Nato Strap Co. As you pointed out, the higher quality Natos are a little more difficult to thread.

Great choice!
I had a 116610 for a couple of months but sold it because like you said, the 6 digits just don't suit straps, and I wanted to wear it on natos mainly as it was my daily.

Bought a 5 digit instead and couldn't be happier. These look so much better on natos than the ceramic references.

I recommend Blushark straps, very good quality! You may also want to get curved springbars as these make it easier when using thicker natos.

Something about a 4/5 digit sub / SD on a NATO just makes me feel all warm and tingly lol

Did blushark provide the curved springbars, or do Rolex make them also?

Congratulations

I agree the older 4and 5 digit references look better on nato straps than the modern ceramics
