RSC London closing date – FYI

In case you were planning on using their services in the next couple of days, I spoke to them earlier today and they confirmed that 27 September will be the last day they’re open before starting renovations.

If you drop anything off before that point and work required will take you beyond 27th they will ship your watch back to a chosen address, free of charge.

Wow can you imagine the flood of pieces that will come in all at once when they reopen? It might take a year to get your watch back then.

Dropping my watch off today, let’s hope it’s back before the 27th!

I reckon they’ll do their best to direct people to the RSC down in Kent, in the meantime to avoid exactly that...

I had to call in couple of weeks back and was told the same thing - around 9 months. The new set up due then sounds pretty amazing!

I’d want to have some assurance of that ...

I'd think they outsource it to other RSCs around Europe to ease up workload.

They will still be operational but at temporary offices, however customers will not be able to visit. You can still drop off your watches for service/repairs via any AD

As mentioned, if they don’t have it done before 27th they’ll just ship it to you - no delay for the customer.
