Dog walker & house sitter.

Used to own a 114060, but flipped it for a 60th anniversary Seamaster 300

I will very soon be rectifying that mistake though

I'm 22, full time student, full time job at a shipyard in Tampa working directly with the owner and his other ventures, I own 2 businesses (a detailing company and real estate holdings) and flip pretty much anything I can get my hands (heavy machinery, cell phones, houses, cars, you name it)

I own a Batman and 2 no date submariners-one of which is for sale.

I'm within 5 months of my 70th b-day. I own a vintage DJ 1603 date anywhere from 1973 - 1975 based on the several ser.# lists I've viewed. This DJ was an acquisition from 3 or so weeks ago. I've waited forever to be able to pull the trigger. Bucket list pretty much complete now. Will eventually post some photos of it. I think I now have enough posts. Can't say if I'll get another Rolex, time will tell. I also have a Citizen Platinum Diver, a couple of Bulovas, couple of Seikos and then some cheaper ones (several Casio's). I do have a thing for watches as you may see.

I'm retired US Army (20years), retired Insurance adjuster 15 years. Trying to enjoy the twilight years in sunny Florida, and doing a good job at it.

Thanks for the invite to talk about me.

After 37 years working for a distribution company I am now semi-retired at 58, currently just the one Rolex (DJ41) but also have a Seamaster and Speedmaster plus a Longines dress watch which was a present for long service with my old company.

Here is my DJ.

Hey Locutus 49, Thank you for your service. Where did you serve? My 20 were mostly in Germany (11 years +) with 5 in recruiting and 3 in Organization Effectiveness, which was a very interesting time. Keep the dust flying.

Yes, I’ve also moved out a few vintage pieces which has helped. Modern watches seem to be a strong relative value.
