PLEASE HELP ! I just bought this Rolex GMT Master II 116710LN but it might be fake!

I bought this off from a pre-owner from eBay.
When I received it, the watch feels kinda off.
Even though I did lot of researchs and checks a real one in the Rolex boutiques. This is my first Rolex so I was very paranoid !
Please help me to identify if the watch is authentic or fake !
Thank you so much.

If you have any question why not take it to a jeweler and have them remove the back. It should be someone who can pressure test it to ensure it is tight afterward.

Your photos aren't good enough to really tell you anything and there are fakes out there that are incredibly accurate.

lousy photos, but pointing to fake.
If you want it authenticated, post more and better dial photos

wrong book (doesnt mean watch is fake) and box looks like one of the new chinese copy boxes... there is a small detail on the boxes they have not got right yet from what i know and this shows that detail
2 things that would give me concern.... pictures of the watch are very poor so i cannot pass judgement on it
Take better photos from all angles if you want better advice

A Rolex official repair place can do a detailed Watch evaluation for you. They will check everything inside out and give you a report. However, this service costs $150.

The green color of the box is not looked right. What do your professional advise about this?

Thanks for all replies!
The green color of the box looks so off ? I’m not sure if it’s the right one since I never owned an rolex before

Too early to tell. If you can upload the photos from few different angles, that would help in looking at it

The watch is genuine. Mismatched box and manuals but good other than that.

Get it authenticated by a professional. You don't know enough about the watch and will always have doubts.

Yes, look at the case, the SEL, the clarity of the crystal, the cyclops AR, the dial, the bezel etc. I could go on. We've had this conversation before Adam. Show me a fake that looks like the one in the OP? You can't. They don't exist. I deal with these things everyday, I've seen nearly every fake that's coming out of China, including high end 'franken' watches. They all have tells.

Interesting, when I purchased my GMT II, it was through a trusted seller here, but was sourced from an overseas AD. They sent me an oyster perpetual booklet instead of the GMT booklet. That was never resolved. I plan on purchasing the correct booklet on ebay so I have everything correct.

You must have some eagle eyes because the pictures are really blurry to me.

Agreed they "all have tells", but in my opinion the "only" 100% guarantee "tell" on OP watch is not possible to identify.

I can post fake GMT where ONLY the movement is fake, case and dial are original.

I personally "try" to only identify genuine or fake, if I can be 100% sure, and even then I make errors.
In this case its impossible in my opinion to 100% state its genuine, as you appear to say.

But its up to the OP to decide, based on all our inputs. would I buy it with those photos and "your" assurance? Nope, not a chance!
Best
adam

I'm sure this is just one of the scammers posting this kind of threads to gain confidence and ask for help to then use the username as a fake reference or later post a watch for sale under another username etc etc.

Stolen pics, new member, poor english !!!
