Left wrist pain?

Has anyone had to switch the wrist that they wear their watch from their non-dominant to dominant hand? For me I'm right handed so I wear my watch on my left hand and now I've been feeling a dull ache/numbness in my left wrist/hand. So now I'm wearing my watch on the right hand. However it feels different to me and wondering if it's weird for anyone else who's right handed but wears their watch on their right hand? I have a doctors appointment in a few weeks so I'll get my left wrist checked out. As for now I'll wear my watch on my right wrist.

Is it possible that you have the stainless steel bracelet a little to tight on your left wrist???

I've found that watches on a strap irritate my wrist less. They weigh less and the fit can be adjusted more easily on the fly. Have you tried fabric or leather?

Sometimes my Ploprof on bracelet hurts my neck..

It's the heaviest watch I own and when my disc is acting up it's just enough weight to cause problems on that side...

What do you mean above the wrist bone? I wear my watch closer to my elbow side of the wrist bone.

Nope it's not that tight, plus it would've been acting up earlier on instead of suddenly.

I haven't, I'm more of a metal band type of guy.

I was just hoping that someone else had something similar happen with them and if they sl tried a wrist guard or a stretch or something that made it go away so you could have your watch on your left wrist (like I usually have it) rather than the right side.

I don't think it has anything to do with the watch - hope your tests find something minor. But in your profession the pain could be a symptom of carpal tunnel, early arthritis, or tendinitis.

I get that from wearing my Panerai. It sits on the bone or above the bone and causes a dull pain.

I could make an attempt at humor but I don't know you that well and you might be offended.
Conditions like 'Overuse syndrome', 'Repetitive Strain Injury', and even Arthritis spring to mind as there is a specific 'time' when you realise for the first time that you have pain/discomfort in a particular region. Those of us who are older know that a lifetime of use often has a legacy.
Is there any repetitive task that you have been doing lately?

Hahahaha. I don't get offended at anything really. Well I started a full time job 7 months ago where I'm essentially typing for about 7 hours. Never have I had numbness in my wrist/arm before. So this is a new thing for me! I've now switched my watch to my dominant hand (right hand) to see if that relieves any of these symptoms.

As somebody here already said, it really could be carpal tunnel syndrome. Ideally you should get it checked.

I'd sure hope OP got it checked out within the past 5 years

That’s where my mind goes to as well.

Good luck OP, I hope the doctor can sort you out
