First mod

I modded an SKX009j for a buddy. He wanted a solid jubilee, green bezel and signed crown.

He got all the parts, gave it to me, and I put it together.

The bezel didn't come with the gummy double sided tape, so I used two component glue to stick it on.

I particularly like the signed crown, I might get this for my own 007.

He picked it up yesterday and was very happy with the result.

Looks great, the SKX is such an awesome watch for modding, but also just keeping it the way it is aint so bad either.

I think it looks great. I love the green bezel and the crown as well.
I love the Seiko SKX watches. They are so much fun

That looks great. May need to pick one of these up for tinkering with in the winter.
Nice work Bas.

Bas, it looks great. One thing i have found is to use a flexible glue for the bezel inserts. The solid glues tend to release over time.
