Ordering archive extracts 5712?
Hi Gents,
I am trying to help a friend to order a copy of the archive extracts from PP for a PP 5712r. We submitted to the dealer in Paris both numbers appearing on the movement. I suspect that they are respectively, the type of the movement and the movement number. He claims that he needs a case number as well otherwise he can't get the archive extracts. We looked at the watch in details and can't find anything that looks like a case number. Does anyone know where this may be located? Thanks in advance, Eric. |

The number you need is stamped on the inside of the case back. Best to have a PP watchmaker remove it and replace it.

I believe you need to e-mail photos of the case number and movement number to Patek before they will issue the extract. So you will likely need the help of an AD.

Yes you need to remove the case back. If you have the shipping coffin, it is also on that.

On the 1A, which is what I have, the case number is stamped on the underside of the bracket near the lug and is visible clearly to the naked eye.
