* * * * * The official TUDOR GMT owners thread * * * * *

After a quick search I didn't find an official owners thread for the new Tudor GMT and thought it'd be fun to start one.

I've only had this watch for 24 hours now but I can not stop looking at it and taking pictures. Tudor got it right with this one and IMO is an absolute steal at MSRP.

I'll start it off with a couple pictures. Please share if you are a lucky owner

I would like to resize my bracelet but I wasn't able to find the information about the screwdriver size on this forum. Anyone knows about the size? Thanks!

Looks great on the leather, guys.

I'm so excited...I ordered a leather strap when I bought the watch last week and it's already in. (They had estimated DEC 18 on the arrival date).

Will post some pics of the leather when I get it, in the meantime...

Thought I may as well post in here instead of creating a separate ‘Incoming....’ post...

Received a couple of months early through David M Robinson in Canary Wharf.

i tried the tudor GMT yesterday at dubai airport with the full intention of buying it. in the end i found the watch too thick and hated how the bezel turns without the rolex clicks:::))) that made me decide against it. still, it is a value proposition, but tough to accept when one is used to rolex.

I have a BLRO and an LN, and I beg to differ.

we all agree that it is unfair to compare a 3K euro watch and an 8K euro watch, expecting similar features. but for me the thing is that the face of the tudor GMT is so beautiful, enticing and seduces into believing that the 'rest' is also at on par with (or a vintage version of) the rolex GMTs. unfortunately i find that this is not the case. as i said, the 'click' of the bezel when turning is disappointing and the watch is significantly thicker than the rolexes. other than that, a great offering from tudor but i'd rather pay the rolex price.

Mods - any chance of merging these three threads? I had trouble finding these as well for whatever reason. Thanks

Nicely done - just read through it. Simple concise article that gives the strengths and even a couple weaknesses. And this picture is terrific!

Nothing. It's just that picking an owners' thread is perhaps not the time or place to discuss your findings of the watch's shortcomings. Maybe finding (or starting) a thread where members are discussing the pros and cons of the watch or comparing it to its Rolex counterpart would be a better choice?

Guys how dows the tudor pepsi feel - i mean after a few weeks/months
Still like the look of this watch, esp the dial

I was going to buy one one a leather but I couldn’t get out of my head how big the case was, is the size of the case something you get used to? Plus I did not wana spend £600 on the bracelet

Thinking i should just pull the trigger and get a pepsi gmt and an omega seamaster instead of waiting forever for a hulk...

I was torn between the bracelet version and the leather and ended up getting the bracelet version and ordering the leather. Now that it's on leather, I don't think I'll putting it back on the bracelet anytime soon.

Funny. I bought mine on the bracelet, got the leather as well, and it’s spent most of the time on RubberB.
